Error shown while making payments online using credit card

Hello,

I am an old credit card user and I have never experienced a problem in making payments online. I have been using a trouble free click and buy system for quite some time now.

Recently, I came to know about the new credit card payment option. So, I changed to that. The payment option was successfully changed then and there, but today, when I was trying to enter my card details, I was met with an error.

I followed all the instructions properly to reactivate my character, but when I entered my card details, it took some time and then gave me the following error:

ERROR
An error has occurred. Please confirm the status of any relevant options and than try again.
For details, please contact the Square Enix Support Center.
(Error code: 601).

Dear User,

Since your account now is disabled. I would recommend you to contact you credit card provider.

They should be able to enable your account and explain the reason why.

And make sure the new payment method you agreed for applies for the places or the websites you are going to buy things from.

Hi there user:

Contact the Support Center to confirm whose side has problem (as stated on the error message). Take your time and be patient as they guide you. I’m sure they will request you to try it again. But this time you should double or triple check the details you input. You stated that you just jumped into a new option of payment. You might have made a wrong input of details. Also you should remember that the “there’s no harm in trying” saying isn’t appropriate here. If you did try and but didn’t made sure of your inputs and made a mistake again, it could be a huge damage. Remember, we’re talking about your money here.

I hope you could resume your on-line transaction soon.
