It seems that you are trying to add the database in a folder that you did not set to use for the database. Ensure that you add the database together with the other database contents that you have already created. Sometimes the files are stored in a common folder called localhost which should possibly in my documents or under C; just check from there to verify if there is a folder that stores the database contents.
If the folder is there, then change the root path you are using to add the database and direct it to that particular folder.
