Error seen while logging in after installing OCS and imported certificate

Hi all,

I have installed OCS and imported certificate on my machine. When logging on, I receive a message – "There was a problem verifying the certificate from the server. Please contact your system administrator".

This is worrying me a lot! I had manually configured the correct server using TLS authentication. Other users in domain can log on with no problems at all.

Am really digging my head.

Can anyone out there assist me please?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Macey,

If you are using internal certificates on the internal roles of OCS, you will need to check if your PC is on the same domain, and also check if it trusts the CA that signed the certificates to OCS.

Some other things you will need to check include: If the PC has got internal roles as well as external roles, and also if you are attempting to sign in using the internal or external edge.

You can also try enabling logging on the OC client and after that check the errors in the application log and see if they could give you a clue to the resolution of the problem. You will get more details concerning the specific certificate, name mismatches as well as authority trust issues.

Regards,

Carl
