Error in Outlook. Entry Point not Found

At present, I have started to see an error each time I use Outlook with reference to a btwapi.dll.  I searched on Google about this dll and it shows that it is related to a Bluetooth software and that it could be malicious, the search also shows a large number of “downloads" ready to “fix” the dll error.  I am very hesitant to download any of these for fear that it will make the condition worse.

“OUTLOOK.EXE – Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point ?SetOnOppOpenCallback@CWBtAPI@@QAE?AW4WBtRc@@P6AXPAXJQAEJJ@Z0@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library btwapi.dll.”

This is a screenshot of the error message.

I need advice from someone on how to solve this problem. Can someone advise me on how to fix this error? Thanks indeed for your kind help.

Hello Minette,

In this case, I would perform a repair on Microsoft Office Program. You have to go to control panel, and then select add/remove programs, find Microsoft Office, and click "Repair" on one of the options. It is just a similar situation if you insert your Microsoft Office installation CD. This is just another option.

You may also install the latest update of Microsoft Outlook because this is also one of the main reason why the error occurs. You may download the latest update at the Microsoft Office official website for free. After the installation process, you need to reboot the computer and then try to open Outlook.

I hope these information is of great help.
