Hello.

I need some help to solve this error that happens when I try to open Task scheduler and when I try to create a Task

Task Scheduler

The task image is corrupt or has been tampered with User_Feed_Synchronization-(516FDCSA-2764-4127-857A-F4C4DAF0E70F)

Any help would be appreciated.

Error in opening Task Scheduler and creating Task

All the tasks are stored at C:WindowsSystem32Tasks in the computer.

The related branches are stored at the following location in the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionScheduleTaskCacheTasks

And the Task tree is stored at:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionScheduleTaskCacheTreeMicrosoft

The problem you are facing might arise in cases where any of the tasks are broken. To check which task has been broken, you can check the locations mentioned above in any other computer system which is working perfectly and sort out which branches of registry have been lost.

Another method of doing so is going for an In-place upgrade in order to repair the system. Though your personal data and programs will not be affected by this upgrade, it is advisable to take a backup of all the important data stored in the computer’s hard disk.

Hope the answer solves your issue.
