Hello,

There is simply only one straight solution to this.

Check the language options in vista interface.

  • Go to Start>Settings>Control Panel.
  • Choose Regional and Language Options there.
  • In the language tab check Text Services and Input Languages..
  • Try changing it to English (UK) or English (US) and back again.

This might help.

Hello,

If it only happens in Microsoft Word then the problem is NOT on your system keyboard setting. It's likely that the problem is your language setting in Microsoft Word.

To change it, follow the steps:

  • Open Microsoft Word.
  • Type a sentence or two.
  • Select all by pressing Ctrl-A.
  • Then, go to Review tab.
  • On the Proofing area, click Set Language.
  • Mark Selected Text As English.
  • Uncheck both boxes ("Detect language automatically" and "Do not check spelling or grammar")
  • Click on Default. Then click Yes.

I hope the Keyboard don't give you weird output anymore.
