Recently, I have downloaded Acronis True Image Home 2012 but I got the following error message during the installation of this software saying “An error occurred while installing Acronis True Image Home 2012”. Can I get the proper instruction to install it without having any problem? An help would be appreciated.

Issue description:
Installation has failed.
The value cannot be found.

On the Windows start button, search and launch Run.
Enter msconfig then go to Services Menu
Under the services menu, uncheck all services not related to Microsoft including startup programs.
Reboot.
Go to the Acronis installer, right click then select Run as Administrator.

If you want to install Acronis True Image Home 2012 but you are getting this error, check the system requirements again and make sure your computer meets those requirements. Acronis True Image Home 2012 supports Windows XP Service Pack 3 (32-bit), Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 (64-bit), Windows Vista Service Pack 2, Windows 7, and Windows Home Server 2011.
If you have Windows Vista, you need to have Service Pack 2 installed. It will not work or installation will fail on Windows Vista Service Pack 1 and or if Windows Vista doesn’t have a Service Pack installed. Download Windows Vista Service Pack 2 and update your operating system. This is the latest and last Service Pack update for Microsoft Windows Vista.
