Hi,
Whenever I plug in my hard drive to my laptop and try to delete or move files access was denied.
And when I attempted to change the security settings this popped up any suggestions?

Accesses can be denied for various reasons. Make sure your hard drive is not password protected, if it is password protected unlock it and try it. You will be able to change the security setting once you unlock it. Check out whether the hard drive is write protected or not, you can find it in the "properties" of the hard drive. If it is write protected you can’t be able to move or copy into it. In the "properties" section you can change the permission to write by disabling "write protected". It can also happen if it is affected by viruses so you should scan it and make sure there is no virus.
