I want to try open QuickBooks but I can’t open it.  The below error appears when I try to open it. Yesterday I entered some data in it and now I want to access that data but due to this problem I can’t access that data.

Please tell me the solution.

If a firewall is installed on your network, you may need to reconfigure the firewall software to allow QuickBooks to communicate using TCP/IP. Click Help for information about changing your firewall settings.

If the problem persists, please contact Intuit Technical Support and provide them with the following error codes: (-6123, 0)

Hi Inggrid,

Based on my research. There are some causes of error.

May be your firewall was preventing your QB from being accessed.  So I suggest, go to settings and find the firewall, then set the QB as access granted or if only mark as check.

Also QB are simultaneously running in an instance. So turn it off. Or maybe your connection was not available that is why the connection was disrupted. Check all your connectivity if available and connected. You can find the solution by downloading the following:

Download the QB CDT (connection diagnostic tool) and run it.

Download QB CFDT (company file diagnostic tool).

Hope this will help you.

Thanks.
