Hi everyone,
When I try to open QuickBooks files from my server I got error message. This is error that I am having first time and I don’t know what to do. How can this be fixed? OS Windows 7,

An error occurred when QuickBooks tried to access the company file
The reason why you are getting that problem is because you have insufficient permissions to the specified folder, and therefore for you to use QuickBooks in a multi-user environment, you will need to have read/write access and then create/delete rights to the folder where the company file has been stored.
In case that does not resolve the issue, you can go ahead and read discussions and post messages and questions that are related to that issue on the Intuit QuickBooks Community site, and you will do that for free. Otherwise you might consider to contact an agent for additional guidance, and in that case contact fees may be charged.
