Hi friends,

The error message stated me that source file might be corrupted, so I cancelled the Savage XR installation and I started again from the beginning to re-install. But I am getting this error again in the same point of installation. How to fix the corrupted source file? Please guide to the solution. Thanks.

An error occurred while trying to copy a file:

The source file is corrupted.

Click Retry to try again, I gone to skip this file ( not recommender), or Abort to cancel installation.

Since you are using Microsoft Windows XP, there should be no problem. Savage XR is a cross-platform online game supporting Windows, Mac, and Linux. For Windows users, Savage XR supports Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Vista. Microsoft Windows 7 and later are not supported. The minimum amount of RAM where you can run it is at least 128 MB.

Your graphics adapter should support OpenGL 1.4 and higher. For Mac users, it requires Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger and later. Also, before you download the game client, make sure you update your graphics adapter. For users using NVIDIA video card, update your device’s driver from NVIDIA Driver Downloads. For users with ATI video card, update your driver from AMD Graphics Drivers and Software.

After updating your video card’s driver, download the game’s installer again from Savage XR and make sure the download completes successfully. Once downloaded, run this installer instead of the one you are previously using.

The error you encountered must have been caused by the older version of the game client where other users also reported having corrupted files.
