Hi expert friends,

When I signed in Microsoft Lync 2010 to schedule an online meeting I ended up with the error message. I am not able to set the online meeting. After the error message I checked the account user but I don’t see any problem there. What is mean by UC enabled? It’s my account then what might be the issue? How to fix this error? Help please.

You cannot schedule the online meeting because you are not UC enabled or there may be issues with you Communications Server account. Make sure you are signed in to the same account you use for Microsoft Outlook. If the problem continues, please contact your support team.

Check these steps how to set or schedule a typical meeting. Start Microsoft Office Outlook and log in to Microsoft Lync. In Microsoft Office Outlook, go to Calendar view and then choose your time slot. In Home tab in Microsoft Office Outlook ribbon, click New Online Meeting. See image.

Double-check or make sure to check the Start and End time. In the Subject line, type the subject or the objective of the meeting you are scheduling or enter Test Meeting if this is only a test for the application. Type or enter your short meeting agenda above the dotted line.

Next, invite someone or a colleague from inside or outside your group or organization by putting their names into the To line. Finally, click Send. After that, confirm that the meeting was successfully created in your calendar.
