On my notebook, I installed Windows 7, 32 bit version recently, and it was functioning. But a few months later, my notebook began to restart repeatedly. I tried to make an earlier image of Windows, but failed. Again I wanted to install Windows cleanly, but that gave an error no: 0x80070057 which says that cannot be installed on the partition.
Even when I tried to use diskpart method, it was unsuccessful. I have a headache trying to solve this issue. I would like to request the experts to help me resolving this problem. Please help me……….

To resolve that issue, you will need to try renaming the SoftwareDistribution folder as follows:
On your computer click Start, and then select Run.
After that go to the Run box and then type: services.msc
And then click OK.
Next you will right-click the Automatic Updates service, and then click Stop.
After that you will need to rename the "SoftwareDistribution" folder as follows:
Click Start, click Run, type %systemroot%, and then click OK.
Right-click the Software Distribution folder, and then click Rename.
After that type SoftwareDistribution.old and then press ENTER to rename this folder.
Once you have done that click Start, and then choose Run.
After that go to the Run box, and then type: services.msc
Click OK, and then right-click the Automatic Updates service.
