I have been facing an issue while using Network Access Software. I don’t know much about the error but I have attached a short screen for your considerations.

Error: Message Stl-nt-34 is not available for viewing

                   Reason : channel access denied

Please have a look on this and let me know how to resolve this issue. I would be grateful to you.

APC is a company for UPSs and therefore I think the network software that you are having problems with should be attached to a UPS on your network, and either the UPS is malfunctioning and thus affecting the application. You will need to check that.

  • Check if the UPS has a problem, may be its battery cannot hold charge anymore and as a result it is giving you a warning to alert you that when it shuts down the network application that is displaying the error message will be affected. In case that is the case then you will need to replace the UPS battery.
  • Another workaround will be to troubleshoot the problems with the application itself. In case it has problem that might need that you reinstall it, then note that. You also might need to change some configurations of the application for it to work well.

I think that you are working on some net charting and you are getting this error in program that is used to see the data over a period of time. The channel access denied mean that you have either no permission to access a device or computer or you are not the person to access this channel form network. There can be a number of problems which can cause these errors. Such a error is you have no IP of the computer that you want to access and there is no protocol available to get the info from the channel. In this case you need to see the IP address of your device. Check that the device is working properly and see that you have all the settings available to run your device. Check the cable if it is on a cable network and find some error in all installations. I am sure you will be able to solve your problem.
