As per the topic concerned, have any of you come across the following scenario? Whenever I get myself off from the network to get started with App-V app, I face the following error note.

The client was unable to connect to an Application Virtualization Server (rc 0DF03306-0000000E)

[01/30/2012 10:19:24:343 TRAY ERR] {tid=1418:usr= USERNAME}

The Application Virtualization Client could not launch Microsoft Project 2010 14.0.4751.1000.

Your Application Virtualization data cannot be accessed. Report the following error code to your System Administrator.

Error code: 4617581-0DF03306-0000000E

By default settings the main User Data Directory is placed as DFS share (\server1USERNAMESoftGrid Content). It is done in order to offer the same privileges to the users on both Windows as well as Citrix platform. Furthermore, we are opposite to get handy with roaming profiles as it requires there is a size limit considering our organizational policies in respect to roaming profiles. Is there anyone who can help me out on this concern, please?

Are you caching the DFS location on your computer? Even with Offline Files caching the User Data Directory, this issue could be seen. Maybe the SYSTEM account and the user account both need access to the location. That is not going to work with Offline Files.

If the network location is not currently accessible, then that exactly what is going to happen. The client needs to copy the PKG file from the User Data Directory when the application is launched.

An approach that I could recommend is using a 3rd party profile management solution to manage settings between client types and application delivery solutions.
