I am getting the above-mentioned error message. I am unable to send any email address out of of my association. Please help me to solve this. Thanks a lot.

The below mentioned permissions should be added to the account:

  • authenticated Users >
  • Read web Information = Allow
  • Read Public Information = Allow
  • Read General Information = Allow

That error you got there has a date of May 19, 2011 and seems kind of old to fix. But anyway, if you still happen to encounter that same problem when sending an outside email, check the configuration of the software you are using. If you are sending your email from within a network and through a network server, check the software you are using if it is configured properly.

If you are using Microsoft Office Outlook in sending your email, check the settings like if it is using the right port number, the username and password, the type of incoming and outgoing email server [usually POP3], and the incoming and outgoing email server address.
