Krusader does not support FTP via HTTP proxy. This error may be caused by a mis configuration of the proxy settings in System Settings. Modify the proxy settings to not use HTTP proxy and FTP will work.. And also make sure the file really exists. Try to access another file.

Hi.

For accessing ftp folders with GUI interface on Linux use Nautilus. Nautilus is native file manager on Gnome. One of it`s features is ftp and ssh from the file manager. To use this feature go to File tab and select Connect to server option. In the drop down menu choose how you wan to connect to your remote server and give it`s address, you user name and password. It will open a new windows with your remote folder.
