Dear friends,
I recently started installing Joomla 1.7.2 and the installation started successfully, but when I came to the step of language selection, the installation stopped, giving me the message "error on page". The screenshot of that step is attached below:
Your suggestions are required to solve the error. I have tried my level best, but the error pops up every time.
Any ideas will be highly praised.

Dear user,
I recommend you to try another version of Joomla installation. At least another setup file. Instead of using the same one.
And make sure server does have sufficient disk space to proceed with the installation

You can try switching off statistic counting script of PHP on your server from the “configuration panel”. This should solve the problem. Again, you can try again by deleting the temporary files in Google Chrome. It can be done by on wrench menu on chrome, then click on “settings”, scroll down on the bottom & click on “Show advanced settings” & then “Clear browsing data” from privacy menu. Hope it helps.

You should try uninstalling the Joomla and install it again. If the problem remains. try deleting you browser cache. And check if a newer version is available on their website. If a newer version is available then download that version and install it. It should solve your problem. I hope you find the solution to your problem.
