Hi,

Recently, I have installed KDE on my system and working fine except that I am unable to logout from my session. I encountered the following error message when I control-click on the desktop and try to disconnect my session. I can’t have the current session saved while this is an annoying issue to me. Is there any way to logout the session? Any idea would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any help.

Error the KDE Session Manager

Hi,

There seems to be configuration problem in HuaweiAutoStart.desktop, open the file and set “type = none” then again run "kbuildsycoca4 –noincremental".

If you still face errors, then you try uninstalling the Huawei media partner. This program has some conflicting files. You can also try by adding add "Type=Application" into the appropriate .desktop file.

Another way is to remove previous builds of Kde (3.5.1) and reinstall everything with fink (3.5.2). This should work without any session errors.
