An error interruption with 7zip

I was using 7zip for a long time already. Until then it's my first time to encounter a problem with it. While I was compressing a file, I encountered an error that shows:

An event was unable to invoke any of the subscribers.

First thing I did is to restart my computer. I also disabled 7zip and installed it again and changed the file association, but still same error showed up. Please give a little help with this.

I am quite sure that installing your 7zip is the problem. Here are steps that may help you regarding your current issue:

  • First uninstall 7zip from your computer.
  • Download the latest version from the website 7-Zip
  • Please make sure that you download the latest version and not the beta version.
  • After downloading, install the latest one and then restart your computer.
  • Try again to launch any compressed file to check if your file association issue was fixed or not.
