Error with installation of fresh IM 2013 after launching the Integration Manager

Hi all.

During a fresh installation of fresh IM 2013, I got this error message after launching the Integration Manager:

Integration Manager

Could not create all default application data due to the following error: – Access to the path ‘C:ProgramDataMicrosoft Dynamics GP11.0.0.0’ is denied.

Access to the path ‘C:ProgramDataMicrosoft Dynamics GP11.0.0.0’ is denied.

Is there a fix on this? Can someone please help me get over this?

The first thing to do is to check if you are trying to install the proper version of the software. In case you are using 64-bit operating system, you won't be able to install the IM designed to work on 32-bit Windows and vice versa. 
 
If the version of the software is matching your operating system, then you are lacking some of the permissions and you can't install the software as a regular user. To resolve the problem, right click the installer and from the menu select the option 'Run as administrator'. That should fix your problems.
