Hi,

Have you any idea regarding the under mentioned configmgrsetup.log file? While installing a program I received the error message. It did now allow my installation. How can I fix the problem? 

Configuration Manager Product Updater.

An error has occurred while attempting to download or verify required prerequisite components and Setup cannot continue. Review the configmgrsetup.log file for further details.

Hello,

There might be several reasons for your error messages. May be the connection to the internet was lost while trying to download the update.

Check whether there are any restrictions with your system firewall. Might be the server at the other side is down. The update you are trying to install is not supported with your current operating system.

To resolve this issue:
  • You will need to copy the missing file back to the pre-download prerequisite updates folder.
  • Ensure that the prerequisite update folder has 14 items in total:
  • At the updated Prerequisite Components page, you will need to choose " Use previously downloaded updates from the following location".
