I have a Windows XP Service Pack 3 with 2GB of RAM on my computer and I am always making cards,i.e. greeting cards, continually and manually saving them but every time I try to do that I have this error message telling me that

Hallmark Card Studio 2011 has encountered a problem and needs to close.

We are sorry for the inconvenience.  If you are in the middle of something the information you are working on may be lost.”

And all of my work that I did on the card, that I was supposed to have saved is gone even though I am manually saving it while the work is progressing.

Can you please tell me what to do?

I am out of my wits in solving this issue.

I would be very grateful if you could help me solve my problem.

It is possible that Hallmark Card Studio 2011 is conflicting with other applications running in your computer.

If this is the case, you may need to close other programs running in the background that are not in use. Activate Windows Task Manager by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + ESCAPE.

This is the safer way of launching the Task Manager instead of doing the CTRL + ALT + DELETE. Click Processes tab. Click on the applications that you think are not in use.

Then click the End Process button. Do it one at a time. But be very careful not to close other programs that are essential to Windows. If you are not familiar with the program, don’t close it.

You may also try disabling your antivirus temporarily while you are using the software and then enable it afterwards when you are finished.
