Error – Ftp cannot make connection to host

Hi,

I have tried many time times to fix the following error using all firewall settings and other ways that I can but nothing did happen. I checked the connection issues, all was set well but it gave me the following FTP error which is very annoying to me. I need your help with the possible solution. Thanks.

 An FTP error occurred – cannot make connection to host. Access Denied. The file may not exist, or there could be a permissions problem.

Hi James,
The error is because a firewall or an antivirus program is blocking the connection.
You can try any one of the below solutions:
Solution 1: If your system contains ‘Norton Antivirus’, disable ‘internet worm protection
Solution 2:
1) Go to ‘Site’ -> ‘Manage Sites, Check that the site name is valid
2) Check ‘Advanced tab’ is selected, Click ‘Remote Info’ in category list
3) Check ‘Use Passive FTP’, ‘Use Secure FTP’
4) Click ‘OK’
