Error with Entourage 2008 Database migration to Microsoft Outlook Express 2011

Hello

Microsoft Outlook Express 2011 gave me this error message. I just think Microsoft should just keep to what they can do best. This happened only now that I was moving from Entourage 2008.

It took me like a whole day to do this. I had more than 2500 mails and about 2100 appointments.

The outlook express did not like the Entourage database. The image below shows the error.

Can anyone tell me what to do?

Thank you very much.

Microsoft Outlook must be closed because an error occurred. Any unsaved work may be lost.

Since you are using a Macintosh computer, try restarting your system then try it again. See if you can now import from Entourage 2008 after booting the machine. If the problem appears again, try checking your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. For a much thorough diagnostics test on your machine, use disk utility applications like Norton SystemWorks, PC Tools Performance Toolkit, or Norton Utilities.

If there is no change and the same error keeps on appearing, try doing a clean installation of Microsoft Outlook to fix any corrupted files that may have developed since you first installed it on your machine. Uninstall Microsoft Outlook then restart your machine when asked. If you installed the whole Microsoft Office package, remove only this feature. After booting, check again your computer for any possible errors using any disk utility application you may have. After this, install Microsoft Outlook again then try importing again.
