I am getting this error on my Mac machine while trying to take backup it gives the following error can anyone tell me any solution for this problem?

Some errors were encountered during the backup. Please choose “Report a problem” via CCC’s Help menu to get help resolving the issue.

How old is your computer? 

By the fact of error that you're using Tiger, I'd suspect it's a decent age, yes? 
You may just have a problem with your motherboard/IO stuff. 
Get a better hard drive scanner and try it out.

 

I am suggesting one software for you. Try with this. Your back up will complete with no error
