Error During Installation Adobe Flash Player 11

Greetings!

During the installation for my Adobe Flash Player 11, it keeps on getting stuck at 50%, then an error saying “Application currently in use” shows up.

I know this is a common problem and the solution is simple: turn off the application.

Problem is, I tried to do that and several other things like: clearing my flash folders, rebooting my machine, shutting down all background programs.

I also tried to directly download the Flash 11 installer, however I end up with a blank error window.

Can anyone else help me with this?

I tried everything I could think of, but it still doesn’t work.

Thank you!

Hello Mara,

The adobe flash player may in use on your computer and that's why you're unable to install it successfully. To resolve the issue that you are getting you will need to do the following:

  • First of all, exit all browsers that may be open for there is a high chance that they are the ones using the adobe flash player application right now.
  • Also, close any programs on your computer that uses adobe flash player.
  • After that restart your computer, and then retry the installation and see if it will work.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Carl
