Hello there Ickyrr, this problem can be fixed and in addition to that, while fixing it you are likely to learn a lot about it as well. Check the  CPU fan on the back of your CPU, open the case and check if a screw is lose or missing on the CPU Fan box as a gap created might have caused an electric segment of the internal portion of the box to disfunction. Then check that the wires are connected in the right place of the motherboard as disfunction of that causes CPU fan to stop. Check if the motherboard is functioning properly, this part is risky as a slight mis-step may cause big problem so you are recommended to take a technician's help. If everything is finely set, then try re-installing the whole thing and the driver software related to the fan. This will fix the problem. If the fan is still not functioning, then you should go and get a new CPU fan or take your CPU fan to the customer service center of it's manufacture company. Hope your problem gets fixed soon. Best of Luck!

Hello

As I understand, the issue is related to Cooling fan in the CPU, I suspect problems with SMPS (Switched Mode Power Supply). Also, there is a possibility of the fan being faulty. As you said that you are new to computers, I presume the CPU components are still under warranty. So please consult with your dealer for replacement. In case if you wish to troubleshoot the issue further, I would recommend a manual cleaning of the CPU fan by someone who can open the CPU/tower and re-assemble them together.

Hope this helps !
