I need help on connecting my Windows 7 to Microsoft Small Business Server 2008. I am having an error when connecting it to a fully updated SBS 2008. I already run Windows Update according to the resolutions that I found online but it is still showing on my screen. How can I solve this?

Howdy Miles,

You need to update information by performing the following:

This update is available from the Microsoft Update Web site:

http://update.microsoft.com

This update is available from the Microsoft Update Catalog Web site:

http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Thanks.aspx?id=140

You need to restart your computer after you apply this update. To avoid restarting the computer, close all applications before you install this update including the Windows SBS Console.

This update replaces the update rollup in 960911 and in 961048.If you decide to install this update manually instead of using Windows SBS Update Services, Microsoft Update, Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), or Automatic Updates, follow these steps:

1.        Open an administrative command prompt by selecting Run as Administrator.

2.        Type the following command, and then press ENTER:

msiexec /update SBS2008-KB969121-x64-ENU. msp
