Hello Techyv Users!

Hi all, I plug-in mine iPhone and then select elements 7.0 to get from the internet pictures.

It does connect and find some images.

Then it gets fail.

I just had elements 3.0 that was working for one iPhone, but may be not work l on the 2nd iPhone.

So, I updated to elements 7.0 believing that it may need an upgrade.

But, no, now my i-phone pictures cannot be downloaded using elements 7.0.

Any help will greatly be appreciated.

Hello Alex,

To resolve that issue, you will need to use the following workarounds:

Workaround 1:

You will to try deleting the status.dat file.

Just go to the following location on your computer and then delete the status.dat file: C:Documents and Settings [user name] Application DataAdobePhotoshop Elements4.0Organizer.

Workaround 2:

The error could be occurring because the program is trying to access a folder location that is inaccessible or does not exist. You will therefore need to redo organization and location of the files in Organizer and make sure that they are all connected on the right drive letter.

Make sure that  NO files Organized by the program are referencing a hard drive other than one that is always connected

Regards,

Carl
