I tried this Web service Software factory installation for couple of times, like installing and re-installing, nothing worked. The installation went through almost to the end, but it failed in registering ASMX guidance package. May be the package is corrupted or missing some files. I am not sure what is going on. Please help me to fix the error. Your help is great. Thanks.

Error code 2869 appeared with Web service Software factory
Before you continue on installing Web Service Software Factory – July 2006, you need to check your system again if it’s going to be compatible with the application. Any versions of Microsoft Windows newer than Microsoft Windows Vista are not supported. So if you are running Windows 7 or Windows 8 on your computer and you want to install Web Service Software Factory – July 2006, it won’t be possible.
Its support is limited only until Windows Vista. The Web Service Software Factory – July 2006 edition supports Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows XP Professional, and Windows Vista. It also requires the following software: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0, Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 all editions except Express, Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or the Express edition, and Guidance Automation Extensions Technology Preview [February 2007 Release for Visual Studio 2005].
This means, before you proceed on installing Web Service Software Factory – July 2006, these software need to be installed first. Once they are all installed, that’s the only time you can continue installing Web Service Software Factory – July 2006. I think the reason why you encountered that error is because you missed installing maybe one or two of the required programs.
You can fix it by installing all the required software and install it again.
