I have Windows Vista and keep getting error code 2318 when I try to install AVG Free. What is this error about? How can we fix it? Thanks.

   The reason why you get the error code 2318 when you try to install the AVG free is because you have a windows damage files or broken system structures in your computer. This problem may cause an unstable operating system in your computer due to improper managing of your computer. To get rid of this problem and to install the AVG free, you have to download a Windows Repair Tool to diagnose and fix the problem in your computer. Just download and run the Windows Repair Tool in your computer and it will help you repair your system to be able to install the AVG free.

If you can’t install AVG antivirus on your Windows Vista, try installing a different program. If the program installs successfully, go back to your AVG antivirus and install it again. If the installation still fails, this is not a problem with your operating system but with the application you are trying to install. It is possible that your AVG antivirus installer is damaged.
If this is the case, download another copy of AVG antivirus from its official home page, AVG Free Antivirus. Also, try installing Windows Installer on your computer in case you don’t have it. If you have Microsoft Windows Vista Service Pack 2, you don’t need to install it because it comes with Windows Vista. But if you have Windows Vista or Windows Vista Service Pack 1, download Windows Installer 4.5 Redistributable.
In case this doesn’t fix the problem, your last option is to use Microsoft Fix it tool to directly fix system problems on your computer. Download Microsoft Fix it Center Portable 3.5.0.41.
