Hello,

This error is usually caused by many concerns on your WINDOWS REGISTRY that comprises the driver of the hardware that you are trying to install in the system. In order for you to come up with a resolution regarding this problem, kindly follow these simple yet effective steps:

  • Reboot PC, it can sometimes be fixed by rebooting PC then you continue if not fixed.
  • Uninstall the hardware, it can also be solved by removing it because this error only occur if you have done changes on your system where the version is not compatible with, continue if not fixed.
  • Reinstall driver, do it again (from scratch) and follow the instructions carefully then update for the latest version to prevent from seeing the error again, continue if not fixed.
  • Replace item, this would be your last option if nothing has changed from the above methods I have stated a while ago.

Have your device checked for compatibility with your operating system.

You may do this by going to the Windows official page.

Good Luck!

Regards,

Mali

This is mainly the cause by multiple issues in the windows registry. You see this error message when something is wrong with one of the programs (cannon installer, Nero, recording software's)

Solution:

1. Start the windows to "last known good configuration" mode

Last Known good configuration: It will recognize the time your system was not having any problems.

2. If you made any changes on devices or installed any new device: undo any changes made on you PC and restart the computer.

3. You can upgrade the divide you;re trying to install (if available) and try installing if back again.

4. Scan your registry  regularly to check for any error
