Did you receive this error while on the process of installation? Try to restart your computer and try the installation again. Then if it fails, try to remove the InProgress registry key. The following steps are provided below on editing your registry but you have to make sure to back up your computer before continuing. Editing your registry may cause harm to your computer.

1. Open the Windows Registry Editor.

2. For Windows XP, click Start>Run then type regedit and click OK.

3, For Windows Vista/ Windows 7, Click Start and then type regedit in the box and then press Enter.

4. Expand to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlSession Manager.

6. Remove the InProgress key.

Or you can also try to run Windows Update.

Hallo Learnard,

You can try the following resolution to that issue which is meant for Mac PC's but it could also work on Windows:

  • First, you will need to go to Library, and then choose Application Support.
  • After that you will have to get rid of the Adobe Directory. Make sure that you remove it completely.
  • Once you have done that, you can go ahead and then reinstall flash.

A possible cause to that issue could be some core libraries didn't get installed successfully.

Another resolution will be to try running the following subinstaller on its own and then see if it will help resolve the issue:

C:Program FilesAdobeAdobe Flash Builder 4 Plug-ininstall.supportAdobeFlashBuilderPluginSTIWrapperWinSet-up.exe

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Carl

Since the problem here is related to the proper configuration of Adobe Photoshop CS6 and like what you said, you already tried reinstalling it and this doesn’t fix it, I think you better check the hardware installed on your computer and verify it with the technical specifications of Adobe Photoshop CS6.

Obviously, you can install it on your computer but only until you reach the configuration part of the installation. There are many Adobe Photoshop CS6 users who are also having the same kind of problem and most of them point the problem to the video card.

Always bear in mind that when using Adobe Photoshop CS6, your graphics card accelerator needs to support OpenGL 2.0 since the software deals with pure computer graphics. If you are using an on-board Intel graphics card accelerator, try updating its driver by visiting Intel’s website or via the update option in the driver itself. And also, if you are using Microsoft

Windows Vista you really won’t be able to use Adobe Photoshop CS6 because it only supports Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3, Microsoft Windows 7 Service Pack 1, and Microsoft Windows 8.

Adobe Photoshop doesn’t work very well on a machine with two video cards so if your computer is installed with two graphics card accelerator, try removing the other one. For Adobe Photoshop CS6 technical specifications visit here.
