HI trouble shooters,

Every one like to install or upgrade their system with new version, I am not left in that. I try to upgrade my system with new operating system windows 8.1 but I failed. I was attempting to install but it couldn’t complete and it error message instructs me to Try again or to cancel the installation. What is the desired system requirement for windows 8? Tech support friends help me to fix in this issue.

It is a common and simply error. This may be the problem of limited drive space which is prohibiting installation or your PC thinks that your system is Windows to GO system. Anyway here is what you need to do to get rid of this issue.

1. Press “Windows key  +R” >> Type “regedit” and hit Enter.

 

2. Next navigate here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControl

In the left pane of this location go to “PortableOperatingSystem” and right-click on it and next select “Delete” option.

Now close the Registry Editor and reboot the system.

That’s it.
