I just migrated my OS to Ubuntu 9.10. I am having a unrecoverable fatal error when installing any program from Ubuntu Software Center. I also get the same error message when updating Ubuntu. How can I resolve this issue?

Error after migrating to Ubuntu

Hi

This picture shows and the errors you are discussing show that there is problem with your Ubuntu and you need to install your OS again. But one thing you must take into account is that you need to replace the version you already installed on your computer. I mean to say the OS you have installed from either USB or from CD or DVD that was not fine and there might be something corrupt in it due to which your OS has not installed properly therefore find another OS although the same version but must take another not the one you already have installed and then install OS and then hope this error will not appear in front you. Hope this solution will help you getting out of your problem.
