My laptop always restart after entering the windows logo, so I reformat it with Windows 7 Ultimate. All procedures are normal but after the finishing message to start the system for the first time it restart and ask if Start Windows Normally or Launch Startup Repair. If I choose Start Windows Normally it will restart again and ask same question. If I choose Launch startup repair, a blue screen appear with a message: A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. What does this means?

Hi Liezel

I guess there could be a compatibility problem, so I will advise that you put the BIOS in compatibility mode on the hard drive.

Just restart the machine, when the computer is booting be sure to press F2. Select config then select serial ATA/SATA. Next change the controller option to Compatibility.

Run the installation again. This should for sure help you in some way.

Hi,

You just check if it the CD installer if it’s have error file or problem and try to check the file if its corrupted from the CD installer and then check your system if it is properly fix from your computer and try to reinstall or reformat again your hard disk just before sure to avoid any error or problem from your machine and then if its work at all try to check the Operating system if its 32 bit or 64 bit just check on that and then try to check the system if its suitable in the windows 7 and then after that just install and then after finishing the installation you just repair the windows from the CD installer try that one.
