How does error "ANS1949E Microsoft volume shadow copy snapshot initialization failed.ANS1949E Microsoft volume shadow copy snapshot initialization failed." Result from after doing a system restore on my laptop.

HI there , 

It seems you are having trouble after restore . 

This error message pops when the restore and backup wizard failed to successfully restore your device to previous point 

You can do one thing that is just try again . 

If it fails again then The problems are 2 : –

1. Your Restore point and the files are corrupt.

2. Huge loads of Malware and or Viruses are Playing with your system . You must be very careful while using External devices to install Softwares and other stuffs and also while using Network.

 

Better install a GOOD Antivirus and or Internet security. 
 
I personally Recommends Kaspersky Internet Security 2012. It works great . It catches almost all the viruses and also very smooth to operate. What problem kaspersky has till its 2011 versions were slow updates. Now they have solved the problem.
 
Go try download the trial version and try it for 30 days and if and only if you liked then buy the license for 1 year
