My Windows Vista PC could not check for any new updates. I have checked the entire software installed in my machine to verify if any of it is causing the issue. But I found out that it is not because of software problem. It always failed with Error code 8007273D.  How can I be able to get rid of this?

Mr.  Mitzi lu your Windows Vista is part of Active Directory (AD) forest, and you probably have a GPO (Group Policy Object) which is forcing your Vista’s requests all the updates from a SUS/WSUS server on your network. So to disable it you will need do this on AD, if you have credentials for it, if not you will need to request this to AD administrator.

So you have to visit this address about support for Vista on WSUS 3.0:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-ph/help/935524/the-windows-server-update-services-3-0-installation-package-is-availab

I think you will cover your problem by doing this, error code might be different but you will get your desired result.
