Hi Joana,

This error messages may be due to a couple of reason.

·         Remote computer you are connecting to is too busy and loaded to accept any new connection. You may wish to try to connect again;

·         If you are trying to connect and establish a dial up connection, you may have tried to reconnect and redial before full disconnection of the modem. You may wish to wait for a few minutes before calling and dialing again;

·         If you are trying to connect with the use of a modem, it may be not properly configured or not functioning well as it should be. You may need to troubleshoot it.

·         If you are using a router or hub, it may not be properly configured or not functioning well as it should be. You may need to check the device documentation for firewall settings as it may be blocking the connection.

I normally get that error when I was still using a USB wireless broadband stick for internet connection. That happens when you can’t connect to the server like when the signal is very weak or your subscription to the service has ended. If you are using a USB wireless internet, check if your subscription is still valid. Wireless subscription is normally on a per-volume basis monthly.

If you already reached your bandwidth quota for that particular month, your service will automatically be suspended. This means you will not have internet connection for the succeeding days until the refresh date. In my LTE subscription, my monthly volume allowance refreshes every 26th of the month.

This means if I consumed or I reached the 30 GB quota, which is my monthly volume allowance, let’s say on the 20th, from that date until 25 I will not have internet connection. My internet service will resume on the 26th at 12 midnight. Check with your service provider for more information.
