Hi guys,

Yesterday I was trying to install QuickBooks on my system but I couldn’t succeed as it ended up in an error on my screen.

The screenshot is attached below:

The installer encountered an error when running “C:Users

The error says:

The installer encountered an error when running “C:UsersOwnerAppdataLocalTempPremierqbook”/quite/norestart INSTALLDIR=”C:Program FilesIntuitQuickBooks 2011” QB LICENSENUM=XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXX

I don’t have the slightest of idea how to get rid of this error and install QuickBooks successfully.

Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Waiting for your replies.

Kindest regards.

Hi,

This happen is caused by a framework.xml file has been damage.

To fix this problem you need to replace the framework.xml to an edited version of Installing QuickBooks from download or you can install it from a CD. When it does not resolve your issue you need to ask guidance from a technical support agency.

Hope it will helps you.

Hi James,

This can be a conflict with .Net Framework and the MSXML component on your computer. You can try to run this tool from QuickBooks. This is an installation tool that help you rebuild .Net framework and MSXML component automatically through a batch file. You can also remove all temporary files on your computer by typing in %temp% from the Start search.
