Hello,

During the install of Autodesk INVENTOR this error appeared in the middle of the process. I have the original and licensed DVD and I think it shouldn’t be a problem. Does anyone have any idea about this error ? What is causing this and how can I solve it ?

Thank you !

AUTODESK INVENTOR 2014

I don’t think you will have a problem with the license because the error is not referring to the license of the product. The installation was interrupted because there is a problem with one of the cabinet files [.cab] which is needed for the installation. Without it the installation will not push through. The CAB file is not missing but there is a problem reading the file.

If you are installing the product using a setup CD, I think you should check the disc for scratches because the file is damaged. Scratches on the surface of the CD cause files to become unreadable and become damaged. If the installer you are running is a download version or downloaded from the official website, just try downloading Autodesk Inventor 2014 again to fix the problem.

Since you have your license for the product, you can always download a new copy of the product from the official website. You can also try Autodesk Inventor 2015 which offers a free 30-day trial period.
