To fix error 1324 the folder path contains an invalid character follow the instructions given below.
1. Open Registry Editor.
2. Go to edit and click on find.
3. Type the character string reported in the 1324 error message in the Find What box, and then click on Find Next.
4. Change all the problematic occurrences of defective characters by clicking on Find Next.
5. Exit the Registry Editor.
6. Re-run Office Setup.
