Try visiting other web sites and see if you will also receive the same message.

If it’s the same, try closing your web browser and then open it again.

Try browsing some web sites again. If the same thing happens, uninstall your web browser.

After that, check your computer for any possible errors.

Use a disk utility application to check the system.

After the disk check, install your browser again.

This will fix any corrupted files in the installation and restores its settings back to default.

Browse some web sites again after the installation.

If you are using Google Chrome, try going to Tools then select Options.

Go to the Privacy section and then turn off the DNS pre-fetching.

Some users fixed their problem by using this step.

Hello Mara,

You will need to check if:

  • You are using the same DNS server(s) on both PCs.
  • The server that you are using on each PC.

Use the following procedure to find out which computer may be causing issues:

  • Open the Command Prompt window.
  • You can do that by holding down the Windows logo key and then press r, and then type cmd in the Run box and then click on OK.
  • After that you will need to type the following command: IPCONFIG /ALL
  • And then right click in the command window and choose Select All, and the press Enter.
  • The results will show you where the issue is.

Regards,

Carl
