Follow the instructions given below to remove hard drive data in Windows XP.

1. Insert the Windows XP installation CD inside the CD-ROM drive.

2. Restart the computer.

3. Press any key when ‘press any key to reboot message’ prompts on the screen.

4. Press Enter key and then accept the Terms and Agreements.

5. Select a hard drive partition that you want to format.

6. Follow the instructions as prompted on the screen.

7. When the hard drive is formatted then re-install Windows XP.

NOTE: Data once deleted cannot be recovered.
