I tried to open my current sequence in EDL Manager and encountered this error “Error: Avid EDL Manager Error: Assertion Failed: (from_event ) !=0 File:

Snapshots/releng.relengintel4_1221705213/vobs/ppg/MCTop/ProjectFiles/../..EDL_Mgr/EDL_Core/edlDecompose.c, Line: 1794”, what could be the cause?

Hey,

I got a solution for your problem! You can check that out::

Punch the continue button on the error and go to Windows Menu choose   

Hit the Continue button on the error and go to the Windows Menu and prefer comfort.  

Visit the time code information where the errors persisting the sequence, typically held or other advanced effects.  

Set out the timeline and take out these effects shown in the comfort and reload the edit into EDL Manager.

Error messages may occur due to severe reasons and yet follow suitable solution.

The precise text of errors as well as its incidence may differ from as on the Knowledge Base.
