The figure shows the Edit tab under the Tools Option menu.
The "Enable click and type" option has been checked.

Hi there,
This feature allows you to click and type anywhere in the open area, double click the mouse and it should allow you to begin typing.

If not checked, when you open the application, cursor will be on the left side and then you start typing going to the right.

If it's checked, meaning this feature is enabled and it controls the behaviour of your cursor by the use of the mouse and it will let you begin typing in the open space.
