Of nothing, I keep on receiving this error when I want to give good results to an animation(activity) codec quicktime:

compressSequenceFrame() returned invalid dataSize for Animation

After Effects error: CompressSequenceFrame() returned invalid dataSize for Animation. Contact codec vendor for an updated version.

On my lenium's site, he recommends re-installing Quicktime. I did that but nothing happen. I trashed QT preferences that also have no result. I repaired disk permissions, no help. I've searched the COW and have found others with this issue, but haven't found solutions.

You need to consider the video file that you have been using. If the video files is any of the following kind: MPEG1, Native HDV, MPEG2, m2t, mp4, H.264 or H.261 please convert it to a different codec/format.

The mentioned videos files use inter frame or temporal compression. To maintain good results through out the video, AE needs the details and complete information for each and every frame. Since these video files contains incomplete information, AE deviates, resulting in uncountable forms of problems.

Hope this Helps!
