E-mail Compose with larger fonts

Hello

One of my clients has a machine having Outlook 2003 and using MS Word as an editor. The problem is that whenever a user composes a new E-mail or Reply to an already received E-mail the font gets very larger; while the confirmation received on this email comes in normal font and in the sent folder. When I disabled the MS Word as default editor, it showed normal fonts. Can anyone explain this problem for me?

You’ll have to edit the stationery settings to match your choice, or alternatively you can just ignore fonts specified in stationary and use default settings. To do so follow these steps:

1. Edit Stationary to your choice:

  • Select Tools
  • Go to Options, from the menu
  • Now Click on Mail Format Tab.
  • Click Fonts
  • Now Modify “Message Fonts” to your choice
  • Click Ok
  • Click Ok again

2. Use default settings:

  • Select Tools
  • Go to Options, from the menu
  • Now Click on Mail Format Tab.
  • Click Fonts
  • Now Modify “Stationary Fonts” (Make sure to choose either “Always use my fonts or Use my font when replying to and forwarding messages”)
  • Click Ok
  • Click Ok again
