Hi all,

I am using the Vuze DVD burn software. I had a Vuze library in my C drive occupying a lot of space so I moved it to an external drive to free up my space. I also made some changes in the default directory and now when I am trying to burn a DVD I get an error. The screenshot of the error is attached below:

Vuze DVD burn software

Error

vuze dvd burn Error

DVD Burn encountered an error.

Failed to create working directory 'K:Vuze DownloadsVuze

DVDs2012-04-22_1'. Please make sure the drive is plugged in, and that you

have permissions to write to this path.

Can anyone please tell me where I am making a mistake? I have no idea where I am going wrong.

Please help me get out of the situation.

Regards,

Jack

When you drag your vuze liberty then your account failed to working dictionary. Now you have to create it again or you have to install it again. Then try it again to burn your DVD or another way is install Nero and burn DVD it is easier than vuze.

Just select your file and add then burn it.

Hi there,

For DVD burners, this type of error only occurs when your DVD Burner was corrupted during the backup process. As a solution, it needs to be reinstalled. After installing, relocate the installation folder to another partition drive. Do not save it on your external drive as it may be more susceptible to viruses. Installation can be done by using the CD installer you have used to install it or search for the Vuze home page and click Download.

Hello dear,

It seems that you have installed an outdated version of your burning software. It does not meet the security requirements of your computer. It is also possible that you do not have enough space on drive C. Anyways, I suggest you use Nero Burning Rom. It is very fast and easy to use, and it meets the security requirements. Go to this link and download this software to fix your problem.

Thanks.

Hello  Samantha

You did a mistake, Vuze dvd burn is  installed software. When you  replace it from C drive to any other drive then all the files

If the software gets corrupted in the system folder. So it's not working on your case.

You can use a portable version of  VUZE software if you want to clean up the drive for memory purpose.

Never replace any installed software,it will not work.

Hi there,

First of all, make sure you are running the latest version of the software. if not, update will fix the problem. Restarting the client would be a useful thing to do also.

After that, go to your Options>Logging, and make sure that "Enable logging" is checked under the configuration – preferences section. When it's checked, exit Vuze.

Since you've been doing some moving, you have to clean your log files. You can do that by finding your Vuze folder and subfolder named "logs". Just delete the whole subfolder. Also, delete folders named: aeantivirus_v, aefeatman_v, azburn_v, vuzexcode placed in plugins folder.

Run your Vuze again. Starting will take some time as it will reinstall the Plus component, but your problem should be fixed.
